- We do NOT use your personal data to train AI models
- AI responses are meant to supplement—not replace—your personal faith journey, pastoral counseling, or professional advice
- Conversations are stored to provide you with history and improve response quality

Google AdMob
- Displays ads for free-tier users
- May use your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) with your permission
- Premium subscribers see no ads
OpenAI
- Powers our AI spiritual guidance responses
- Processes your questions to generate answers
Facebook (Optional)
- Only if you choose to sign in with Facebook
- We receive basic profile info you authorize
These partners are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for providing their services to us.
6. Advertising
If you’re using WWJD for free, you may see ads:
- Ads are served by Google AdMob
- Before showing personalized ads, we ask your permission to access your device’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA)
- You can decline personalized ads—you’ll still see ads, but they won’t be tailored to you
- You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience
7. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell your personal data. Ever.
We only share data when:
- You choose to post publicly in the community
- Required by law or valid legal process
- Necessary to protect safety or prevent fraud
- With service providers who help run WWJD (listed above)
We never share your private questions, prayer requests, or personal reflections with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
8. Data Storage & Security
Your data is protected by:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure cloud storage with Firebase
- Keychain storage for sensitive credentials
- Firebase Security Rules limiting data access
Your data is stored on servers in the United States. While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights & Choices
You have control over your data:
Access & Download
- View your data in your Profile settings
- Request a copy by emailing us
Correction
- Update your profile information anytime
- Edit or delete your posts and comments
Deletion
- Delete your account in Profile → Settings → Delete Account
- Or email support@thewwjdapp.com with subject “Delete My Account”
- We’ll process deletion requests within 30 days
Opt-Out Options
- Disable push notifications in iOS Settings
- Decline ad tracking when prompted
- Turn off specific notification types in app settings
10. Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as needed:
- Account data: Until you delete your account
- Questions & study plans: Until you delete them or your account
- Community posts: Until you delete them or your account
- Usage analytics: Up to 26 months
- Deleted account data: Removed within 30 days
Some data may be retained longer if required by law or to resolve disputes.

This website uses standard cookies required for basic functionality, security, and analytics. You may disable cookies through your browser settings if you prefer.
12. Children’s Privacy
WWJD is designed for users 13 years and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you’re a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@thewwjdapp.com and we will promptly delete it.
